The Empire Cup

The Empire Cup was created to recognize the individual who has had the greatest impact on the direction and future of Empire. "Sacrifice and Contribution" are the pillars of this award.

Performance is no doubt a key characteristic but by no means the difference maker. Sales people are rewarded for performance by commission.

The Empire Cup transcends extrinsic rewards and recognizes the individual that helped catapult Empire to the next level for that year. This is our highest honor to bestow upon an individual.

To be eligible you must be employed in good standing with Empire for 1.5 years. Past recipients are the sole decision makers and presenters of this award.

Previous Winners

Rob Gibbons, our first Empire Cup winner, managed our largest territory and drove his territory to over 30% growth in our first two years of existence.

Caring more about Empire, Rob volunteered to take a $20,000 decrease in commission to allow us to hire two additional sales people. Rob's selfless, organization first decision and his ability to drive his territory was a major contributor to Empire's first Agency Of The Year Award in 2006.

Rob selected Anthony Zito, our second Empire cup winner. Like Rob, Anthony dominated with sales performance, growing HSS (Hospital for Special Surgery) to Mitek's #1 national account. Anthony's explosive revenue growth propelled Empire to win 2006 and 2007 Agency Of The Year awards. A feat no other Agency has accomplished, contributing to the growth of the Empire brand.

However, the differentiator for Anthony winning this award was his ability to recruit top-notch talent into the organization. During that timeframe, Anthony directly recruited three of our future stars!!!

It is commitment to the vision and long-term future of Empire that rewards an individual with this honor. Both Anthony and Rob will make the decision for our 2008 Empire Cup winner.
